if i set up a 12 month subscription (before any new subscription promo announcement for WoW Forever), and say blizzard does include something for a 12-month subsciption to celebrate november 4th release later… would it go to my account , or would I need to wait a full 12 months to renew the subscription and hope the promo it still happening?
So the 6 and 12 month bundles provide the mounts/pets that are listed at the time of purchase. If you maintain an active 6/12 month subscription then you are automatically granted those.
Here is the previous one. Which says:
Players already on an existing 6-Month or 12-Month recurring subscription plan with a future renewal date will automatically receive the mount and pet at no additional charge, no later than July 31, 2026 (must be redeemed by July 31, 2027) through Battle.net.
So basically, if you maintain your subscription and it has a future renewal date (i.e. not canceled), when the next one is released you should also receive the mounts/pets listed for that offering. It may take a couple of weeks to apply it to the account so it won’t be immediate, but it usually doesn’t take that long.
I can’t say for certain if any mounts/pets will be offered for WoW: Forever. The last one had a mount/pet for Modern WoW and a mount/pet for Progression (Mists of Pandaria Classic). Those were the only versions. It might stay to that, it might not.
